Welcome to Restaurant l’Alsace
From the first of July 2007, restaurant manager Josephine Stockhammer and chef de cuisine Franck Dietrich took over the well known and highly regarded fashionable Restaurant l’Alsace on Ny Østergade in the centre of Copenhagen. The restaurant was founded in 1978 by Austrian born Franz Stockhammer who sadly passed away at the beginning of 2007. Restaurant l’Alsace specializes in traditional dishes from the Alsace region, located on the eastern border of France, along with influences from other European countries such as Denmark and Italy. The restaurant has an extensive wine list specializing in wines from Austria and the Alsace region. Josephine and Franck, who is from Alsace, both attended catering educational establishments in Wachau, Austria and worked closely with Franz maintaining the high standards of the restaurant until his departure. Josephine and Franck are continuing with the high standards and traditions that were layed down by her father, but intend to make changes in the future that will be to the benefit of the customer.
Sunday Openings
